LifeVerse Privacy Policy

LifeVerse (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).

By using LifeVerse, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect the following types of information:

a. Information You Provide
• Your name and email address (when you sign in with Apple)
• Journal entries you create, including title, content, category, and associated scripture or prayer
• Reminder preferences (such as prayer time, gratitude time, and accomplishment time)
• Any notes or additional information you choose to add to your journal entries

b. Information Collected Automatically
• Device information (such as device type and operating system)
• App usage data (such as which features you use and how often)
• Streak and insight data generated from your journal entries

c. Information from Apple Sign In
When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (if you choose to share them). We do not receive your Apple ID password.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the LifeVerse app and its core features (journaling, streaks, insights, reminders, etc.)
• Generate personalized scripture and prayer suggestions using AI
• Send you local notifications and reminders you have enabled
• Improve the app and develop new features
• Understand how users interact with the app so we can improve the experience

We do not sell your personal information.

We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With Apple’s CloudKit: Your journal entries and profile data are stored in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service. This data is encrypted and only accessible by you across your signed-in devices.
• Service Providers: We may use trusted third-party services that help us operate and improve the app. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

Your journal entries and personal data are stored securely in Apple’s CloudKit (your private iCloud database). We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. We do not store your journal data on our own servers.

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access & Export: You can view and export your journal entries directly within the app.
• Delete Data: You can delete individual journal entries or your entire account and all associated data at any time.
• Disable Reminders: You can turn off daily reminders at any time in Settings.
• Delete Account: If you wish to permanently delete your account and all data, please contact us.

LifeVerse is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
